TEACHER APPRECIATION LUNCH
Don't forget that there is a Teacher Appreciation Lunch in the Fellowship Hall immediately following the morning worship service today for all teachers and their families.
TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK DONATIONS
Teacher Appreciation Week is this week, and we would like to provide a table of goodies in our local public school teacher lounges. We will need the following items: prepackaged snacks like Little Debbie’s, granola bars, fruit snacks, fruit, nuts, coffee drinks, fruit juice, and Gatorade. Please bring donations to the table in the church lobby by tonight.
LADIES BANQUET
Our Ladies Banquet is coming up on Saturday, May 11th at 12:00pm. We are excited for this time of fellowship, a delicious meal, and time together around the Word of God. The speaker for the event will be Joy Lewis and we look forward to hearing what God has laid on her heart. Please sign up by this Wednesday, May 8 in our GraceToAnderson church app or the link below, so that we know how much food to prepare. We’re excited to have you, along with your family and friends!
BABY/CHILD DEDICATION

CHILD WORKER MEETING
We have a Child Worker Training meeting on Sunday, June 9 at 5pm. This is a required meeting for anyone who is wanting to work in the children and youth ministries and has not already gone through the training here at Grace. If you have any questions, please see Pastor Stein.
FIRST CHOICE: WALK FOR LIFE
Help us raise funds for the First Choice for Women ministry as they serve women and families in need throughout our community. You can join us in person for the walk on Saturday, May 18, at 10am at Mounds State Park. Here is how it will work:
Step #1: Register as a participant for the event
"Church Attending": Select "Grace Baptist Church - Anderson"
"My Team Is": Select "Walking in Grace"
Step #2: Find friends & family to sponsor your walk with pledge contribution dollars
Step #3: On Saturday, May 18, walk 1 mile for life on your own (or with your crew) anywhere you'd like, OR join us in person for the event at Mounds State Park at 10am on Saturday, May 18
Step #4: To show your participation, snap a selfie or short cell phone video of you and/or your crew walking for life! Post your photo/video to Facebook/Instagram with the #walk4life and tag @firstchoiceforwomen!

LADIES BIBLE STUDIES: RUTH & ROMANS PART 2
We are excited for the Ladies Precept Bible Studies coming up in this summer and fall! Both studies will have several opportunities to meet in person or online and will meet every other week. GRADUATION & PROMOTION SUNDAY
During the morning service on Sunday, June 2, we want to recognize all those graduating this year from high school, college or grad school. Please let the church office know your name and degree earned by clicking the button below and filling out the form, so that we can give you the recognition you deserve. That morning will also be our day to welcome those moving up to the next class in Sunday School. Parents, remember that the cut-off date for your child aging up to the next class is October 1st.

AWANA GRAND PRIX PINEWOOD DERBY
We are looking forward to a fun night at Awana on May 19 in the GBC Auditorium. We will not have our regular evening service so that we as a church body can better reach out to the parents and children attending this event. VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL HELPERS NEEDED
Vacation Bible School will be from Sunday, July 14 - Wednesday, July 17 this year. If you are interested in volunteering to help during VBS, please sign up at the link below.
SUMMER CAMP: ELEMENTARY & TEENS
Summer will be here before we know and with that comes some exciting opportunities such as camp. Going to camp can have a great spiritual impact on our children. This summer we are going to Camp Cobeac July 22-26.
You will want to register as soon as you know your plans so your child has a spot reserved. The cost for camp is $279 which could decrease if you have more than one child attending and/or have a teen going to camp. Cobeac provides a sibling discount of $50 off after the first registration. Also, teens that serve during the Summer Family Nights will get a scholarship.

WEEKLY PRAYER MEETING AT ANDERSON POLICE STATION
A weekly prayer meeting is held each Monday to pray for our law enforcement, first responders, and government officials. If you are interested, you can meet at the alcove outside the Anderson Police station on Mondays at 8:00am.
SENIOR ADULTS CONFERENCE AT THE WILDS
We are excited about another upcoming Senior Adults Conference(55+) at The Wilds this Fall. You'll be sure to enjoy some relaxation, sight-seeing and Bible teaching together from Pastor Mike Reid, Senior Pastor of Temple Baptist Church of Fredericksburg, Virginia. REGISTER FOR FALL SENIOR ADULT CONFERENCE AT THE WILDS
HELP NEEDED: TURN AWAY NO LONGER MINISTRIES
Turn Away No Longer (TANL) is a nonprofit organization in Madison County helping children in need. TANL provides Swag Packs to children entering foster care through their Care4Kidz program.
Swag Packs are new bags/backpacks stuffed with new items the children need and can use, along with an encouraging note to tell a child, "you do matter, we care about you, God loves you and He has a plan for your life". TANL works with Benchmark Family Services, Kids Peace Indiana Foster Care, and the Dept. of Child Services at the state and local levels.
Swag Packs give children a bit of comfort in having something of their very own they can take with them to their next destination. Grace Baptist Church is a Drop Zone for donations and wants to fully support these efforts to make a difference in children's lives.
